standard thompson

Back with a brand new sophomore effort Mike & the gang bring the hooks for sure! Great production in the vein of a Ben Folds, The Fray, Rejects with sweet guitars and some big hitting drums...Welcome back indeed!

Young Mennace Mr Futuristic: Crossover Hip Hop, R&B

Young-Mennace-Mr-Futuristic

One of our most licensed hip-hoppers is back with the latest installment of hits. This time the female vocals are even more present by featuring Leila Nicole, and of mainstays Envy and Grams are always bang! Mix some T Pain, some Cascada and some Akon and I think you’re there!

Impirio & Cru Fazes: Crossover Hip Hop Pop

ITG1083-Fazes-150Two of our favorites are back, teamed up with mainstay producer DLFx... this Sophomore effort will not disappoint! With a nice blend of up, mid, and chill offerings the melodies and flow abound ala Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Black Eyed Peas and Taio Cruz.

Chris Koza Rogue Valley : Folk Rock, Acoustic Pop

ITG1081-KOZA_RogueValley150This guy is a lyricist; avant garde and sincere words in a clear pleasing tenor woven with precise pop-folk melodies. Acoustic and organic in nature, from relaxed to driving and ALWAYS interesting & catchy ala Ryan Adams, Joshua Radin and Wilco.

Black Sugar Transmission Use It: Electro, Pop, Post Punk

ITG1077-BST_150Well, describing this young man is easiest done by saying “you gotta hear it.” By having names like Vernon Reid {Living Colour}, Dug Pinnick {Kings-X}, AceySlade {Dope}, and Patti Rothberg; its pretty hard to put a label on him. Perhaps saying a “blend” of Prince, Nine Inch Nails, Sonic Youth, & Smashing Pumpkins. Potpourri {a musical medley} that might kick your ass!

Charn These Sins of Mine: Indie Rock & Alt Country

ITG1080-Charn-150Sweet & Catchy; a St. Paul band brought to our attention via a Chicago talent scout. Hey...we’ll take it! A blend of Indie rock and alternative country influenced by a cold and dark Minnesota Winter ala The Fray, Wilco, and even Tom Petty.

Go Periscope: Electronic, Alternative

ITG1076-Go-Periscope-150Bringing their fresh new sound from Seattle, these two nineteen year old’s took a page from the Owl City manuscript and did this record on their own using modified areas of their homes as a studio. The results are fantastic and would be compared to an LCD Soundsystem meets said Owl City. Kudos guys!

Meme: Female Ambient Pop

ITG1082-Meme-150

OK, so I had to ask the proper pronunciation and that’s rhymes with cream. Great voice is the first and foremost attribute; bright & stylish ala Imogen Heap, Bjork, Kate Kavnevik, & Goldfrapp. From carefree to intimate, add a sweet beat and cast of supporting elements and you are Frenched baby!
