The first time Jenny laid hands on a piano at the age of four, she immediately felt like Elton John and Billy Joel. Though her melancholy melodies are far from from the glittery pop-stars, Dalton is a self-taught pianist and songwriter whose style and voice stand on their own. Her musical background is propped up by diverse tastes. In her early childhood, she spun old Rhythm & Blues 45s, fell in love with 80s counter-culture pop, and was infused with classic and hard rock by her drum-set playing father.  Unable to shake music from her blood, Dalton founded her own record label and released her debut album in 2006. She went on to produce and release another studio album and has expanded to release remix projects as well as authored her first book.
